“ Good-by Dunkin Donuts, and welcome back Mr. Daddy!! I stopped into Daddy's Donuts and Bakery on a Sunday morning of July 9th 2023. I found a friendly staff, and a very clean environment; along with large and delicious donuts. You can tell they had to be made with top quality ingredients. I met Mr. Daddy himself. He was a warm, friendly, easy going guy. Obviously his donuts are a labor of love. Thank you Mr Daddy!! I will be back! ”

“ Daddy's donuts is a specialty donut and pastry business that just reopened to the public recently. I decided to check it out and here is what I experienced. I went around 9am on Saturday and there were 7 people in front of me. The selection was very limited, but there was a steady line of new trays of donuts coming out. I wanted to get a little bit of everything but only had $30 in cash on me. I didn't realize until I paid for my stuff that they accept credit/debit card also. I ended up getting a maple bacon, pb&j, cannoli, Nutella, apple fritter, raspberry rugelach, powdered jelly and sugar jelly. There were only a couple people up front working, but they were working as fast as they possible could while still being pleasant to every customer. For 6 donuts 1 pastry and a small pack of rugelach the total was $25. That is a little pricey I think for some people. But to be honest, I think most of the people that go there are familiar with their prices and know they are paying more for a quality product. My family and I tried all the items and we thoroughly enjoyed all of them. They could use some more help I think in both baking to keep up with demand and serving their customers, but finding good reliable help is hard to find and training kids who have this as their first job will take time to train properly. I rated them 4 stars because there selection was very limited. I would recommend stopping by to pick up 6 or 12 donuts if you are in the area. ”

“ These donuts are absolutely wonderful. I was told to come here by a friend because the donuts were to die for, and that was correct. The owner is a wonderful person, who puts so much care into his delicacies that you will leave drooling, wanting more. The assortment is outstanding, with so many choices that you probably won't know what you really want and you'll leave it to a toss of a coin, or by playing eenie meenie minie moe. The food is displayed neatly and organized, rather elegant actually, to show you the array of choices for you to grab. If you want a donut, you can either go to Dunkin and get a cheap 99 cent donut that isn't very satisfying, or you can go to Daddy's Donuts and get a sugar high for breakfast. Your arteries may curse you, but your taste buds will praise you. ”

“ Was visiting in Middletown for a wedding and decided I wanted some donuts. I was worried that since it was almost 11 AM on a Sunday they would not have much left, but much to my surprise there were so many flavors and fresh donuts. Every donut I had was delicious and I will definitely return if I'm ever in Middletown again. ”

“ My boyfriend and I came across the gem after hot air ballooning nearby. We were up since 5 AM and we needed, not lunch, but a second breakfast. ATMOSPHERE This is a no frills bakery. Food is stacked in their counters and industrial shelves. There are a few tables and chairs nearby. It is always busy. So if you're a large group, don't count on getting setting for all in your group. While its quite simple, everything here is clean. Even the bathroom is clean, clean enough for us ladies to use. :-) SERVICE The service is quite quick. Its mostly young adults behind the counter. They're perky and efficient, so expect to quickly receive your baked goods with a smile. FOOD The food is the best thing about this place. Their bread and pastries are super fresh and affordable. We bought a large super fresh lemon pie for $5. It tasted like it was made that same day. The donuts are the stars of this eatery. They have nutella fillet donuts and even donuts topped with our favorite childhood cereals like fruity pebbles. While they are pricey, they are quite large. Have one of their decadent donuts with coffee, and you'll ride a sugar high for a least 1.5 hours. ”

“ My sister was nice enough to pick up a Cannoli donut and a Boston Cream on a recent visit to NY! -- Cannoli Adorable that it looks like a flattened cannoli instead of a round donut! Even after the ride to MA, this tasted super fresh and the dough was incredibly soft. I didn't love the powdered sugar on top, and the cream was a bit too sweet, but I loved that it had chocolate chips throughout. Overall, creative but a bit lacking flavor-wise. Boston Cream This is a solid donut! The chocolate glaze is the standout--perfectly sweet! The dough was still relatively soft after sitting all day so I bet it was very fresh when bought. The cream was fine, nothing special. Would recommend, especially for the reasonable $1.50 price tag! -- 4/5 for solid donuts, creative flavors, & reasonable prices! ”

“ Right off of 211, close to Touro college makes a great place for dessert or whenever you choose to eat your donuts. They've got a great bacon butterscotch donut which I can recommend. Any assortment of cookies, little puffs, tiny pies, eclairs, rugelache, brownies, cake slices, cheesecakes, muffins, and cupcakes. They also will make birthday cakes and big orders which you can pick up there. Definitely recommend to satisfy that sweet craving you have (or may have developed while reading this) #sorrynotsorry Edit (5-21-17): Tasted their tiramisu cake. Great coffee flavor, not too overwhelming and cake is soft, but a little dry ”

“ Food: My girlfriend goes to school around the bakery, so when I come visit her I like to stop by and grab a donut. I'll miss this place when she graduates. The donuts are very good and very addicting. The donuts are also very fresh and they keep baking them. The only thing I do not like is they are VERY greasy. I can handle grease but the oil seeps through the box. I can only imagine what it looks like in my stomach! Brew: Coffee and the usual drinks. ”

“ I won't mull over what others have stated and seems obvious GREAT DONUTS!! Like really great they don't offer any options in terms of buying a box I.e. Dozen, 1/2 dozen so you purchase each individually ranging from $1 -$2. Being how indecisive I can be I walked in and simply said give me 1 of everything with the donuts. I walked away with 18 donuts, A elephant ear, a GIANT cookie, coffee cake and an iced tea. Came out to $32 worth of damage it was about what i guesstimated. Eating them they are light airy donuts, from breakfast cereal, to bacon, nuts, jams/jelly/cream/pudding, and 1 cake donut (I HATE CAKE DONUTS lol) it's diverse in toppings but the donuts is the same base. Great execution nothing to complain so go out and try some the bacon maple was interesting, and the banana pudding was great. ”
